Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of Pyzia, operated by Andreas Langa, Schubertgasse 14 / 27, 1090 Vienna, Austria ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
3. Your content
You retain all rights to the charts, posts, comments, and annotations you create ("your content"). By publishing content on Pyzia, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute that content on the platform — for example, showing your posts in other users' feeds. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the content has been shared with others and they have not deleted it.
You are responsible for the content you publish. You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to it and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of third parties.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes intellectual property rights.
- Impersonate other people or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.
- Post spam, scrape the platform, or attempt to interfere with its operation or security.
- Present manipulated or fabricated data as genuine.
5. Content moderation and reporting
We may remove content or restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Where we remove content you posted, we will inform you of the reason unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
If you believe content on Pyzia is illegal or violates these terms, please report it to mail@pyzia.app with a link to the content and a short explanation. We review reports promptly and will inform you of our decision.
6. No financial advice
Pyzia displays economic and financial data and user-generated analysis for informational purposes only. Nothing on the platform — including data, charts, posts, or comments by other users — constitutes investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data. Any decisions you make based on content from the platform are your own responsibility.
7. Underlying data and licences
The datasets available on Pyzia originate from third-party providers such as Eurostat, the World Bank, and other statistical institutions, and are reused under their respective open data licences (for example CC BY 4.0). The source of each dataset is shown alongside the chart in which it is used.
- Your rights to the underlying data are governed by the original provider's licence, not by these terms.
- If you share a chart outside Pyzia (for example as an image), keep the source attribution shown on the chart.
- You must not present the data as endorsed by its original provider.
8. Liability
We provide the platform free of charge and without warranty of availability. We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and for personal injury. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for the breach of essential contractual obligations. We are not responsible for content posted by users, but will act on reports of illegal content as described in section 5.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the platform or legal requirements change. For significant changes we will notify you (for example by email or a notice on the platform) before they take effect. If you continue to use Pyzia after the changes take effect, the updated terms apply.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
